Facade Maintenance-before work
Building Entrance before Maintenance
This was the condition of the Facade (Building Exterior) at the building entrance. Most of the Top Hung Openable Windows were tied with Rope from Inside. We noted from the outside ground that these Heavy Glass panels could fall down at any time and may have Damage Loss or Property Loss. It was a high risk to keep this window in such a position i.e. tied with Rope.

  • Scaffolding work

Facade Maintenance-Wooden Scaffolding
Bamboo Scaffolding by Landscape Wall Systems
Since Metal Scaffolding has a weight that cannot be taken by the existing Canopy made of Mild Steel (MS) and covered by ACP Sheets, we decided to install Bamboo Scaffolding. This was the only convenient way to do Facade Maintenance.

  • What Facade Maintenance Work we actually did...

  1. After having the Facade Inspection and giving top priority to the High-Risk heavy glass panel of the window we removed knots of Rope used to tie the Glass Panel having Double Glass Unit (DGU) by Holding them by Suction Cup Hands with 5 persons in a position.
  2. We replaced broken and damaged existing Hinges and fixed Hinges and Stay arms supplied by Kelegent with SS316 screws.
  3. We also checked and solved Locking issues without replacing Hardware. (Locks were in good condition)
  4. We had Facade Cleaning of Replaced Glass Panels / Windows as an extra Service.
  5. We also repaired windows that were at Low Risk and were not in our scope in a contract.

For 2 years Windows / Glass panels of the Facade/ Building Exterior were kept tied with a Rope. In January 2019, We, Landscape Wall Systems. accepted this challenge, had Facade Maintenance work in 3 days, and ended with Customer Satisfaction.
